Thundercat Inglewood Concert reviews
Jurassic World Live Tour
My son LOVED it and that’s really all that matters, firstly! He thought it was the best show he’s ever seen, so I am happy. I was bummed that the dinosaurs (raptors) only went close up to the special sideline seats (foldout chairs right on stage). Also standing outside it was raining hard while waiting to be let in and there was no cover, so a lot of kids and families were soaked, and that wasn’t fun sitting in wet, cold clothes for the show. I thought being in row B center stage that some dinosaurs would at least come up to us or walk by our way, super bummed because there was plenty of room and a blocked off area (table/platform) in-front of us. Doors opened exactly at 11 for the pre-show but that meant time spent on going through metal detectors, scanning tickets, finding your way to the pre-show, and then it closed down at 11:40 so the pre-show was only 30-40 minutes long, not the full hour as stated. I wish we could have been allowed in earlier to compensate for that because I saw a lot of families bummed they missed it. The show, the actors, props, dinosaurs were great (you could see people in the costumes and people driving the large dinosaurs was a little unexpected) and variety of food and souvenirs available was awesome. The show’s script seemed a little long-winded at points where it was hard for younger kids to stay interested in until there was another dinosaur or fire stunt. Overall though I had a good time and my son (9) absolutely loved it, so overall a hit!
